The video above is a review of the Dynasty electric car by Driver's Seat TV. The review of Dynasty's low speed electric car is really complete and has great shots of the interior. Below the fold is a Driver's Seat TV review of the Mercedes-Benz BMW Smart car. The reviewer Jen Horsey was impressed by the Smart's large interior and power on the highway (take that TTAC!). Also below the fold is a Driver's Seat TV video with two of the show's hosts going furniture shopping in the Smart and a Hummer and discover, oddly enough, that the Smart is actually not bad for shipping furniture. If you live in Canada, check your local TV listing for Driver's Seat TV. It looks like a really green car review show.
That is a review? Some chick likes the Smart for no real rational reason. She also says not to compare it to anything else. Presumably because we would realize you can buy a Honda Fit that is better in just about every way possible.
She confuses power with top speed. "The 135km/h top speed is more than enough power". Uh yeah...
It has 40 HP and does 0-60 in 20 seconds for cripes sake, that is not enough power.
The reviewer does not like the Smart for 'no rational reason.' She specifically mentions its fuel economy, its small size for parking, and that the car is something unique. She was also surprised by its interior room, its performance on the highway, and criticizes the transmission's automatic function for being harsh.
The $26,000 price is for a special edition trim called 'Nightrun.' Regular Smart cars start around $16,500 CDN. This too was mentioned in the video.
It seem that some people have such a difficult time with this woman's opinion, that they have to distort her views and dismiss her as just 'some chick.' Sad.
I dismiss her for saying things like 135KM/h is more than enough power. She seems a tad clueless about cars, to be reviewing cars. That looked more like a smart car advert than a review.

Who cares. She is hot and has a nice voice. I could not get a car with an 83 mph top speed. I will surely be run over in Miami, FL.
